John Quirk, Chief Executive Officer
John is Chief Executive Officer at General Healthcare Resources as well as GHR Healthcare, our parent company. John started GHR in 1993. In his role, John is responsible for making major corporate decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of the company, and acting as the main point of communication between the Board of Directors and the executive team. John brings more than 30 years of experience in sales, management, and healthcare staffing to the team.
Laura Magner, Chief Operating Officer & President
Laura is the President and Chief Operating Officer at General Healthcare Resources as well as for GHR Healthcare, our parent company. In her role, Laura oversees the day-to-day operation of GHR and is responsible for setting the course of the company and ensuring we deliver on our commitment to helping healthcare organizations, and healthcare providers, help others. Laura brings more than 20 years of sales, management, and operations experience to the team.
Cheryl Wilhelm, Chief Development Officer
Cheryl is President of GHR Travel Nursing as well as Chief Development Officer of GHR Healthcare, our parent company. In her role, Cheryl oversees the day-to-day operations of GHR Travel Nursing and provides a wealth of insight and an in-depth understanding of the healthcare market to the company’s development efforts. Cheryl brings more than 20 years of sales, management, and operations experience to the team.
Jeff Crater, Chief Financial Officer
Jeff is the Chief Financial Officer for GHR, handling all financial and accounting responsibilities for the organization. With over 20 years of experience with the company, Jeff brings an in-depth understanding of the healthcare staffing industry and combines it with his organizational knowledge to provide strong financial, analytical and strategic leadership to the company.
Peter Mecouch MBA, MSN, RN, Chief Clinical and Compliance Officer, GHR
As the Chief Clinical and Compliance Officer with GHR, Peter provides leadership on a clinical and professional level to all business lines and acts as supervisory counsel to clinicians. Peter also aligns selected divisions with Joint Commission expectations to maintain accreditation. While recognizing trends and opportunities for quality improvement, he also helps to provide resources for educational opportunities to clinicians.
Bill Halnon, Chief Information Officer
Bill is the Chief Information Officer for GHR, handling all facets of information technology and cyber security for the company. Bill has a wealth of experience in the role, having served as CIO of several large public companies over the past 25 years. He brings his history of successful large-scale project implementations and strategic technology advancement to the GHR team.
Alissa Christoforou, Vice President, Business Development
With over 25 years of diverse business experience, Alissa leads our Corporate Business Development Team and drives growth through the cultivation of relationships with organizations across the healthcare industry. She is committed to building, maintaining, and growing our relationships with our current customers and developing new relationships with future business partners. Alissa enjoys collaborating with our clients to identify the best solutions to their unique staffing and talent acquisition needs and working with the teams within GHR to customize and tailor our programs to fit those requirements. Alissa holds a Masters and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and, over the years, has successfully led several divisions here at GHR. This experience has provided her with a complete understanding of our overall operations and the full spectrum of what GHR has to offer.
Barry Matthews, Vice President, Revcycle Workforce Solutions
20+ years of staffing experience with a focus on Health Information Management since 2004. Founder of the HCTec HIM Division, now GHR RevCycle Workforce. Our consultants provide Coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement, and Case Management results. Being able to offer these additional specialties compliments our commitment to delivering innovative healthcare workforce solutions. It is my desire to provide results that are affordable, effective, and reliable. It’s a small world in HIM, CDI & Case Management, and I’m proud to lead GHR RevCycle Workforce.
Coley Murphy, Vice President, Human Services and Education
As the VP for GHR Human Services and Education, Coley oversees the daily operations and ensures the business development of both business lines. As an expert in client development and engagement, Coley provides great knowledge to our staffing specialists to best serve all clients and candidates.
Denise Hogan, Vice President, Human Resources
As a dedicated employee for over 25 years, Denise Hogan is the VP of Human Resources for GHR. Her role includes streamlining new talent recruitment and onboarding processes and managing enrollment processes and policies for employee benefits plans. She keeps up to date with ever-changing employment laws to ensure our policies and procedures are in compliance.
Donny Wright, Vice President, Applications
With over 25 years of healthcare staffing leadership and operations management experience, Donny Wright brings a unique competitive advantage to the team. He has a proven ability to analyze, create, and implement sustainable processes to improve business applications. This, combined with his knowledge and demonstrated capability to perform as an effective hands-on leader, assists with the strategic growth and prosperity of GHR. Donny’s advanced understanding of computer information systems and project management proficiencies provide an added asset to the company.
Jayne Kunaszuk, Vice President, Finance / Controller
As the VP of Finance, Jayne oversees most finance department functions, including payroll, billing, and accounting. She received a BS in mathematics and started her career with GHR while still in college.
Jeff Huss, Vice President, Direct Placement and Interim
Jeff has been with GHR since 2001 and started the GHR Search division in 2002. Since then, he and his team have placed over 4,000 people and worked with more than 300 clients. Jeff oversees three managers, B.D. person, and several senior recruiters while guiding and directing the division’s growth. He and his team ensure that every candidate and client receives the best experience by focusing on communication, collaboration, and transparency.
Joe Formica, Assistant Vice President of Client Relations
As the Assistant Vice President of Client Relations, Joe focuses on developing relationships with new clients and ensuring successful account management within existing customers for GHR’s nursing and allied health divisions. Working at GHR for over 13 years, clients value his ability to understand their personnel needs and provide solutions to positively affect change.
John Earley, Vice President, Corporate Development
John is our VP of Corporate Development. He oversees client relations, recruitment, and staffing operations for our hospital partners in PA and NJ. John has over 27 years of operations management, recruitment, sales, and staffing experience in the healthcare industry.
Liam O’Keefe, Vice President, Acute Care Nursing
Liam has been with GHR since 2014. He oversees the development and ongoing expansion of our Acute Care Staffing Division. He also manages the daily operations, new business development, employee development, and strategic planning for the division. Liam’s team supports an extensive network of clients from large acute care hospital systems to individual outpatient clinics and long-term care facilities.
Lisa Schreiber, Collections Director
As the company’s collections director, Lisa brings over 20 years of experience in a business-to-business collections role. She manages a comprehensive portfolio of temporary and permanent staff accounts, an integral function in our organization. She also obtained a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University.
Matthew Kyle, Vice President, Workforce Solutions
Matt has been in recruitment for 15 years. Since 2017, he has been leading Global MSP and RPO business lines in healthcare staffing. At GHR, Matt is the Vice President of Workforce Solutions; The MSP and RPO business lines are the most inclusive, all-encompassing partnership offerings with GHR’s premier client health systems. His team is responsible for developing and providing high-quality end-to-end talent solutions. Through expert consultation to the high demand to their team’s client success stories, we see Matt’s division expanding and continuing to be a catalyst for GHR’s growth and success in the foreseeable future.
Mike Jones, Vice President, Security, and Infrastructure
Mike Jones is the VP of Security and Infrastructure at GHR Healthcare for all GHR brands. He oversees all the systems, software, and technology platforms used daily, ranging from workstations to the cloud services and security programs that keep our infrastructure and the company running. Mike has a BCS in networking and communications, an MBA, and has served in the IT industry for over ten years.
Rebecca Hatala, Marketing Director
Rebecca leads our marketing team out of GHR’s headquarters office, responsible for digital marketing, branding, PR, event planning, and business relationships. She brings a BA in Strategic Communications, experience in agency and in-house marketing settings for healthcare and IT, and a background in MarTech recruitment to this role. Rebecca is passionate about finding opportunities and developing initiatives in alignment with GHR’s mission and future growth.
Stan Moffatt, Assistant Vice President, Southwest Nursing
Stan Moffatt is the AVP of our Texas Region. He brings several years of sales and operational leadership experience in the financial industry and has been working in the healthcare staffing industry over the last 15 years. Stan is passionate about finding the right candidates to meet his client’s needs. This is done by focusing on relationships and getting to know what the client and candidate want or need.
Tania Fornelos, Vice President, Nursing
Tania has been with General Healthcare Resources since 2001 and is currently Vice President (VP) of Nursing. As VP, she has the role of direct management of our per diem and contract services. Having been in the business for over 20 years and earning an executive certificate in leadership from the University of Notre Dame, Tania also plays an integral role in team development and training.
Tina Davidson, Vice President, Allied Health and Pharmacy
Having worked in healthcare staffing for 18 years, Tina has extensive experience with permanent and temporary staffing of nursing, therapy, physicians, and all behavioral health specialties. As the VP of Allied Health and Pharmacy Services operations in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Region, she brings over 15 years of experience working within the Northeast Region market staffing hospitals, home health companies, outpatient centers, long-term care facilities, and all other medical settings.
Tony Caponi, Vice President, Technology
After ten years in healthcare staffing, Tony transitioned into the Healthcare IT Staffing industry, where he has spent the last six years. At GHR Technology, where Tony is the Vice President of IT Services, he is responsible for sourcing and building client business partnerships, as well as developing advanced recruitment practices to serve the healthcare industry. Tony is an active board member of the local Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS).
