Executive Biography of Jeffrey W. Crater
A committed employee for nearly 13 years, Jeffrey W. Crater currently serves General Healthcare Resources, Inc. (GHR) as the Chief Financial Officer.
Since his promotion to CFO, Jeff has established a proven track record for creating highly efficient, customer service-oriented, and fully integrated Accounting and Finance teams. A Certified Public Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in both corporate and public accounting, Jeff has held various positions in diverse industries. Most recently, Jeff served as Controller, and then Vice President of Finance, at GHR before being promoted to his current role as CFO. Along with the company’s CEO and President, Jeff is responsible for the overall strategic direction of GHR. In addition, Jeff is involved with, and responsible for, the company’s financial planning, cash management, operational and tax compliance, risk management and insurance, payroll, information technology, and investor relations.
Jeff attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, during which time he concentrated on Management and Marketing and earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration. Jeff continued his education upon graduation, earning a post graduate certificate in Accounting at Ursinus College, as well as completing MBA coursework from DeSales University.
As with many of our executive team members, Jeff is actively involved with his community. He currently serves as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, Jeff has played volunteer roles in many local organizations and programs, including the Rotarian Pottstown Rotary Club, Pottstown Cluster Community Meals Program, and Cradles for Crayons.
Jeff presently resides outside of the Philadelphia region with his wife and two children. His hobbies and interests include nutrition and fitness, spending time with his family and friends, and vacationing in Cape May, New Jersey.
